Woodrow and Edith Wilson; White House History (Number 32) - Photo 12

Mrs. Wilson’s jewelry was often high fashion. She was a first lady with a taste for ornament. This is the Peace Pin that she wears at her waist in the portrait by Seymour Stone. Measuring 6H inches across and 2H inches high, the diamond pin is an arrangement of olive branches and doves, symbols of peace.
