Lincoln Sitting Room, John F. Kennedy Administration
This photograph of the Lincoln Sitting Room was taken on February 23, 1962 by Robert L. Knudsen, during the John F. Kennedy administration. The Lincoln Sitting Room is captured prior to its redecoration by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. Previously an office and later a telegraph room, this Second Floor room serves as a parlor corresponding to the adjacent Lincoln Bedroom.
