Bill and Hillary Clinton at National Christmas Tree with Sammy Sosa and Children
This photograph of President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton at the Pageant of Peace was taken in 1998. The Clintons appear in the photograph with baseball great Sammy Sosa, then playing for the Chicago Cubs, as well as two of Sosa's children. The Pageant of Peace event is an annual celebration that includes the lighting of the National Christmas Tree on the White House Ellipse.
