Pink Magnolia and Gilt Banded Teacup
This is a porcelain teacup believed to have been painted by First Lady Caroline Scott Harrison. The cup displays pink magnolias and gilt bands that resemble the design Mrs. Harrison painted on her grandson's bathtub. Her grandson, Benjamin Harrison McKee, was affectionately known as "Baby McKee." This piece shows one example of Mrs. Harrison's hobby of china painting.
