"Quick Like a Bunny" at the 2015 Easter Egg Roll

This photograph of a gardening station at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll was taken by Matthew D'Agostino for the White House Historical Association on April 6, 2015. The "Quick Like a Bunny" gardening station was part of the "Play with Your Food" activity center, which featured a variety of educational activities to teach guests about healthy ingredients and where they come from. At the station, guests assembled garden cup necklaces filled with seeds that grow "quick like a bunny." In 2015, the theme of the White House Easter Egg Roll was "#GimmeFive," which commemorated the fifth anniversary of First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" initiative by challenging the public to incorporate five new healthy habits into their daily routine, and share their positive lifestyle choices on social media. The event also featured fitness zones and cooking demonstrations, as well as traditional seasonal activities such the egg roll race and storytelling.
