This photograph by Robert Knudsen shows Kennedy pets Charlie and Pushinka on the South Lawn of the White House. Charlie was a gift from Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., President John F. Kennedy's father. Pushinka was a gift from Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev in 1961.
