This photograph of First Lady Hillary Clinton discussing the progress of the Blue Room refurbishment with Richard Nylander was taken in 1995. Nylander, chief curator and director of collections for the Preservation of New England Antiquities in Boston, helped to oversee the project as a member of the Committee for the Preservation of the White House.
