This oil on canvas portrait of President Franklin D. Roosevelt was painted by Frank O. Salisbury. A former governor of New York, Roosevelt served as president during the Great Depression and World War II, and is the only president to have been elected to four consecutive terms, serving from March 4, 1933 until April 12, 1945.
