White House North Facade
This lithograph of the north view of the White House was created by Edward Weber & Co. in Baltimore. A horse-drawn carriage is seen pulling up to the North Portico, which was constructed in 1829-30 during the presidency of Andrew Jackson. David d'Angers' statue of Thomas Jefferson is on the North Lawn. This lithograph was photographed by Bates Littlehales for the National Geographic Service in March 1962 during the John F. Kennedy administration.
