Shahin Mafi is the founder and CEO of Home Health Connection, Inc. a provider of home healthcare services. Born and raised in Tehran after receiving an MBA from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, she returned to Iran and became involved an activist for women’s rights. This early social activism has continued throughout her life and she is involved with a multitude of organizations. Shahin established the Azar Foundation for Children of the World in 2003 in honor of her mother. The foundation’s focus is on the education of children and empowering women. She is a member of the Global Leadership Council of the Meridian International Center and resides in Maryland with her husband.
