About this Gallery
On Presidents’ Day 2023, the White House Historical Association will partner with US Embassies around the world for an international wreath laying ceremony at presidential statues and monuments. This collaboration will honor the history of American presidents globally and bring attention to the meaningful leadership that each of these statues represent. The tradition began in 2022 when WHHA partnered with the US Consulate in Edinburgh, Scotland to lay a wreath at the statue of Abraham Lincoln.
